Short description
The purpose of this project is to guide the students to use in an ethical and safe way the technology tools, to improve their learning and prepare them to live in an active and driving in the society of 21st century, characterized by three important aspetcts: the Internet Era, the Multilingualism and the Globalization.It is based on the use of eTwinning based learning in everyday school activity, in a cross to the various disciplines and functional to the achievement of the most innovative directions, both national and European, and the CLIL.( Mother tongue/ english).
eTwinning will be used as a methodology to promote and enhance the relevance and quality of the learning, of all students, particularly in the case of students at risk; fostering the provision and the assessment of key-competences, including basic skills and transversal skills ; to support the curricular objectives, and to learn in new ways. The implementation of the project includes working on variety of activities and will affect a wide range of curricula areas allowing the staff to exchange ideas about teaching.
Objectives
- To enable the child to live a full life as a child, and to realize his or her potential as a unique individual
- To enable the child to develop as a social being through living and cooperating with others and contribute to the good of society
- To lay the basis for active citizenship
- To prepare the child for further education and lifelong learning.
- To promote the active participation of all pupils in the process of teaching / learning, especially those in difficulty
- To improve and make interactive the teaching / learning process
- To prevent early school leaving
- To reinforce the role of lifelong learning in creating a sense of European citizenship based on democratic coexistence, tolerance and respect for other peoples and cultures.
- To promote the exchange of experiences and professional growth of teachers from different schools and countries.
For each month the students will engage in activities connected with the curricular content studied in different partners schools and related to the achievement of the objectives set at both national and European level. Great space will be given to interaction and collaboration that can take place either through the implementation of activities for large groups and small international groups.
